Where We Came From

PartMetrics came from real Engineers who were getting frustrated with finding and organizing parts. Sure, there are a lot of web-based tools that claim to have 100,000,000,000 parts in their database, and seem to have a very useful parametric search. But, what's the use of getting results back in 0.00001 seconds if you need to look through each and every datasheet anyways?

How Does It Work?

Gathering and maintaining data on millions of parts is a tough job. Yet, either by memory or maintaining a little stash of datasheets, many engineers keep track of hundreds of parts themselves. PartMetrics tackles the problem by giving the individual engineer an easy way to store and categorize the parts they use. If a part you use isn't here, you add it. If some details are missing, you can fill them in.
